Feed My Sheep August Statutory Holiday

Monday August 5 the Feed My Sheep crew will be preparing a hot lunch for our Cornwall clients at the Agape Centre. The volunteers we have are the most efficient and dedicated bunch of lovely folks. The food prep ladies arrive with the tools to chops according to what is needed for the day. Neil and Tom are a great pair working on the protein of the meal, this week it is going to be ground beef. The rest of us fill in with the various duties needed to get things ready on time. It is typically a busy  but fun morning.

Dedicating a New Christ Candle

This Sunday, July 28th, we are dedicating a new Christ Candle for the church. Bev Roy has gifted the church a new candle in memory of her granddaughter Emma Roy, and Emma’s grandfather Richard has volunteered his time to improve the candle stand. We thank the Roy family for the addition to our church and we are honoured to receive this gift in memory of Emma Roy. Special musical pieces have been arranged by Felicity Brown, Judy Pentinga, and John Worrall. Everyone is welcome to join us this Sunday for the dedication.

Pride Week is in full swing, and we are excited to be taking part again this year. We have our Pride Crafting session on Friday (which you are invited to join!) and the Pride Festival March on Saturday! Thank you to those from Diversity Cornwall for joining us today, and we look forward to joining you on Saturday!

Hymn Sing Sunday

We will be having a Hymn Sing for the worship service on July 21st. We are collecting hymn suggestions on Sunday June 30th and July 7th! If you have a favourite hymn that you would like us to sing, please mark down the hymn along with the number and place the note in the box at the back of the sanctuary. We may not be able to sing all the suggested hymns, but we’ll keep a note of it for future worship services!
