We do more than Sunday worship. Our community is actively serving the citizens of Cornwall and the surrounding region through our outreach partners and initiatives. Whether it’s serving hot meals during statutory holidays or fundraising for a local organization, the people of Knox-St. Paul’s live out our mission and vision: Helping Build a City Where No One Journeys Alone. To us, it’s not a slogan or a marketing gimmick. It’s a calling that guides everything that we do.
If you are looking to help our city, we would be honoured to have you. We have many volunteer opportunities available for people of all skill sets and abilities. If you’re interested in joining one of our internal teams, contact the office and we’ll be happy to direct you to the team leader. To learn more about our in-house teams, click here.
Community Outreach Projects
If you’re looking to support our outreach projects, we welcome both volunteers and financial donations. To learn more about our outreach opportunities, click here.
Local Festival Booth
We’re always looking for volunteers to help with our booth at local festivals. If you could spare an hour or two, we’d love to have you join our table to share the work of Knox-St. Paul’s to the local community (and provide some refreshing hospitality with water and snacks!)
Sunday Service Helpers
We’re also looking for people to assist during our Sunday worship service, including the following:
- Door Greeters (Say hello to visitors, handing them a bulletin, etc.)
- Readers (Reading the Bible passage up at the front. Training available if requested)
- Hospitality Helpers (Setting up refreshments, serving guests)
- Audio-Visual Technician (Help run the sound system and the livestream. Training is available)
If you’re able to help us on Sunday morning, please sign up on the sheets by the front doors or speak to the minister or team leaders.
